Jacob Kenedy and Victor Hugo opened Bocca di Lupo in November 2008. The restaurant has since received various awards and accolades for its stripped-down, honest regional Italian cuisine.
The restaurant pioneered flexible menus and small plates/sharing dining globally, and counter dining in the UK. It remains the place to go to explore Italian regional cuisines, as they are understood in the very regions the come from.
Our wine list is 100% Italian, hand-selected by Jacob with sommeliers Phill Morgan and Michael Perucci, and has won awards including best wine list in the Uk. We are known for value, and for finding beautiful examples of regional Italian wines.
Despite the buzzy feel and glamorous surroundings, we are a family business, a small and humble trattoria at heart. We specialise in the obscure and the delicious highlights of food and wine from all across Italy's twenty regions.
In 2020, in response to the pandemic and lockdown situation, we launched an 'at home' service, where we prepare food to the highest standard, allowing our customers to cook, in a few simple steps at home, dishes exactly as we serve them in the restaurant, and exactly as we remember them from trips to all 20 regions of Italy
