THE iconic wine of Sardinia. We have just a few bottles of this jewel, & I've been tempted to save them for when (!) we re-open the restaurant. As it's Sardinia's moment in the sun on Bocca at Home though, I've relented and put it on sale. It will be snapped up. A big, dark, structured wine, crafted to be the island's Sassicaia. The vintage is great, and it's already drinking well. This is one of the few wines we offer for delivery which will repay patience in spades though.  I'd buy a couple, drink one and put one away. Prunes and sweet cherries mingle with tobacco and cinnamon and leather, and yes, the tannins are up front and unashamed. Pair with fat, basically. A dream with roast shoulder of lamb or goat, or a big chunk of marbled beef. This is money, but worth it.
